With the booming development of TikTok e-commerce, an increasing number of merchants are choosing to open their shops on the TikTok platform, leveraging the traffic advantages of short videos and live streaming for product sales. However, due to various reasons, some merchants may need to close their TikTok shops. So, where exactly is the location to close a TikTok shop?

1. Enter the TikTok Shop backend management
To close a TikTok Shop, you must first access the management backend of the TikTok Shop. Merchants can enter it through the following methods:
Entering within the TikTok APP:
Open the TikTok app and enter your personal profile.
Click the "three dots" icon in the upper right corner to bring up the menu bar.
Locate and click the "My Store" option in the menu bar to access the store page.
Locate the "Settings" option at the bottom of the shop page and click to enter.
In the settings page, locate the "Store Management" option and click to enter the store management interface.

Web version access:
Enter the URL of "TikTok Shop Official Website" in a computer browser.
Use the same account as your TikTok APP to log in to the Shop backend.

2. Locate the store's entrance for closure
In the store management page, merchants need to locate the entry for closing the store. The specific steps are as follows:
Swipe down on the store management page, locate the "Close Store" option, and click it.
The system will display a "Close Shop" prompt page. After confirming the closure, click the "Close Shop" button.

3. Fill in the store closure information and confirm
After clicking the "Close Store" button, the system will display a prompt window again, asking whether to confirm the store closure. At this point, the merchant must carefully review the store closure precautions and ensure all closure conditions (such as processing all orders and settling any outstanding payments) have been met.
After confirming everything is correct, enter your phone number for identity verification.
Click the "Submit" button to complete the store closure application.

4. Pending Review and Refund of Security Deposit
After submitting the store closure application, the TikTok platform will review the merchant's request. Upon approval, the merchant must wait a certain period (typically 3 business days) to complete the fund refund process.
Merchants can check the remaining deposit amount on the store management page.
The store closure process is completed once the deposit is refunded to the merchant's designated bank account.

5. Precautions
Closure Conditions: Before submitting a closure request, ensure all closure conditions are met; otherwise, the application may be rejected.
Fund Handling: Before closing the store, ensure all orders have been processed and there are no outstanding payments to avoid affecting the refund of the security deposit.

Reapplication: After closing a store, merchants must wait for a certain period (e.g., 6 months) before they can reapply to join TikTok Shop.
Store Unbinding: After the store is closed, the channel-authorized account and the person-store integrated account will be automatically unbound. Merchants need to handle the related account matters accordingly.

By following the above steps, merchants can successfully complete the store closure process on the TikTok platform. During the operation, please carefully read the platform's instructions and precautions to ensure accurate execution.
