Sales performance exceeded expectations
Funko's net sales for the fourth quarter of 2025 were $273.1 million, a decrease of 7% compared to $293.7 million in 2024, but the decline narrowed significantly from the 14.3% decline in the third quarter. The gross profit for the same period was 111.6 million US dollars, with a gross profit margin of 40.9%, a year-on-year decrease of 1.3 percentage points. The main reason for the decline is the optimization of channels and the increase in individual product profits, which have been overshadowed by tax expenses, eroding the company's gross profit margin by approximately 4.1 percentage points. But the gross profit margin in the fourth quarter slightly increased by 0.7 percentage points compared to the third quarter.

As for the full year performance, net sales were $908.2 million (approximately RMB 6.25 billion), a decrease of 13.5% compared to $1.005 billion in 2024; The gross profit for the same period was 351.3 million US dollars, with a gross profit margin of 38.7%, a year-on-year decrease of 2.7 percentage points; The net loss for the whole year was 67.4 million US dollars (mainly due to the impact of Q2 one-time tariff costs).

Three major series drive performance improvement
When it comes to the reasons for the improvement in performance, CEO Josh Simon pointed out that it is mainly due to KPop Witch Hunt, Stranger Things, and the mini series Bitty Pop! The driving force.

It is reported that after the animated series "KPop: The Witcher" exploded overseas popularity in June 2025, Funko quickly negotiated licensing and seized the opportunity to launch the product into the market with high efficiency.

In addition, after the finale season of the popular Netflix series "Stranger Things" aired at the end of November 2025, the traffic of related products rapidly increased, driving sales of related products. Funko's related series of products benefit from this. These two IP series products ranked third and fifth respectively in sales contribution in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Another sales highlight is the mini series Bitty Pop!. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the series will officially expand from the popular toy channel to the popular toy channel. It will be sold in 1800 stores of Wal Mart, improving its performance.

Regional differentiation is evident
From the fourth quarter of 2025 alone, except for Europe (+1.6%), the United States (-12.0%) and other regions (-3.4%) showed a downward trend compared to 2024. When it comes to the performance expectations for 2026, the company's attitude is cautiously optimistic. It is expected that the net sales in the first quarter of 2026 will remain stable or slightly decrease by 2% year-on-year, but it is confident that it will achieve a stable or growth of 3% performance for the whole year.
