JD Production and Development completes delivery of Dubai's first logistics infrastructure project
News2025-06-04On June 4th, JD.com announced that the first Middle East logistics infrastructure project located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has been delivered. As a practice of JD's response to the State Council's Opinion on Promoting Stable Scale and Optimal Structure of Foreign Trade, this project will build a high standard supply chain service platform for Chinese enterprises to go global.

The Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) was established in 1985 and is one of the largest and most influential free trade zones in the Middle East. This area has world-class logistics facilities and a highly open business environment, occupying the location advantage of a global trade crossroads. It is an important strategic hub connecting East West trade and one of the preferred investment destinations for foreign-funded enterprises in the Middle East. The logistics infrastructure put into operation by JD will be operated by JD Logistics after delivery, and the upgrade and transformation of intelligent warehousing equipment will be completed simultaneously. The first batch of settled customers in the project is a well-known intelligent manufacturing enterprise in China, which fully reflects JD's mission of providing global supply chain services for Chinese enterprises to go global and helping Chinese brands globalize.
